Why coaching and what does it bring you?

More and more successful people have a neutral sparring partner at their side, who accompanies them in their personal development, or in particularly challenging phases - whenever the desire for growth, reflection and sincere conversation arises. As a companion and as a confidant, I approach you with respect and appreciation, I listen to you without prejudice, ask questions that no one else poses, and give you honest and respectful feedback without value.

What does it bring you?

  • You have a professional at your side who respects you as a person, takes you seriously and listens to you with an unbiased mindset and without an agenda.
  • In a protected space, you can openly tackle topics that you really deal with - without these being judged or judged, and without you having to prove anything to someone.
  • You have a companion for your personal development, in general or during particularly challenging phases and receive honest and professional feedback.

WHEN ONE OR BOTH CAN BEST SUPPORT YOU

career challenges and unproductive thoughts, anxieties, and fears

The challenge of dealing with unproductive thoughts, anxieties, and fears is common to all. Specific stimuli and situations trigger some more than others, and some not at all. Signs of being triggered are fight, flight, or freeze responses (I.e. stress) and/or avoidance behavior. Coaching is very helpful when these feelings are situation, challenge, or relationship specific, are temporary (they started as a result of a specific challenge or situation and should stop when that situation is ‘solved’), and are not attended by any diagnosed mental health condition.

Introvision and Dialectic Insight Coaching are for every one whose flight | fight | freeze reactions and avoidance mechanisms tell them something is wrong when trying to do something, deal with particular individuals, or achieve specific learning and life outcomes. It is for those open to new ways of thinking and willing to overcome stress and internal blockages.

Introvision is particularly helpful when trying to understand or overcome such triggers does not help, no matter what you do. When these triggers and their consequences keep you from doing or learning what you want; when they block you from making the changes you want to make; that is when Introvision Coaching is a way to break free by uninstalling the trigger(s) and dissolving the accompanying stress. I offer brief Introvision Coaching (usually two to three two-hour sessions) for all kinds of inner obstacles.

Some of the most common issues for which I provide Dialectic Insight coaching are:

  • Improving social, management and leadership skills
  • Dissolving inappropriate behavioural, perceptual and assessment tendencies
  • Reduced performance, creativity and motivation blockages, e.g. "internal dismissal
  • General expansion of the behavioural repertoire, in particular the flexibilisation of routine standard behaviours
  • Dealing with personal (meaningful) crises, e.g. lack of self-confidence
  • Review of life and career planning
  • Support in acute conflicts, e.g. in relationship conflicts with other persons
  • Dealing with problems caused by organisational structures or organisational development measures, e.g. dealing with new roles, integrating new employees, changing the way in which a flexible and lean organisation is dealt with
  • Preparation for new tasks and situations
  • Dealing with structural standstills of the entire organization (e.g. stagnation of sales) and individual development (career standstills)
  • Support in the introduction/change of a management style
  • Promotion of teamwork, cross-departmental working groups and projects
  • Conflict management for individuals or within groups
  • Working on discrepancies between formulated corporate culture and observable employee behaviour

THE HOW, WHEN AND WHERE OF THE PROCESS

anytime, anywhere - transparent and confidential

Interaction in coaching is goal-oriented with regard to content, expected results, and time limits. The focus is on you in a voluntary transparent dialectical process in a setting that assures confidentiality and respect. The results of coaching remain, even with goal orientation, open-ended.

In neither Introvision or Dialectic Insight coaching is there anything to do or prepare. A fundamental characteristic of all professional coaching is the promotion of self-reflection and self-perception as well as the self-directed broadening or improvement of possibilities on the part of the client where perception, experiences, and behavior are concerned. So come as you are, that is all you need.

Introvisioning is a being with what is in your way in a mindful, non-interfering, non-rationalizing, and non-solution finding way. This way is quickly learned. I do the rest by guiding you to apply Introvision where it will do the most for you. I do this based on a unique Introvision intro discussion process.

Introvision coaching usually takes between two and three two-hour coaching sessions one to two weeks apart.

Dialectic Insight coaching is a guided process for which there is also nothing to prepare. All we do is talk and I do most of the listening. You can feel save arriving just as you are, knowing that you have all the resources in you already. Our process is for my to help bring them to the foreground, to stimulate them to action, and to guide you through what in you might be blocking the solutions already there.

Dialectical Insight Coaching takes anywhere between 2-6 two-hour coaching sessions separated by one to four week, depending on how you are doing and the nature of what you are aiming for.

On a more formal level the process is as follows:

(1) We get to know each other and get a feeling about how well we can work together
(2) We explore the situation for which you have sought coaching. What is the situation? What are you struggling with? When/How did it start? What are the frame-conditions? What are the organizational and other systemic frames in which the challenge arose?
(3) We seek to agree on the course of action and any rules, limits and taboos we need to respect to work well together.
(4) We clarifying the time, place, and frequency of appointments, costs, location, range of services, confidentiality, cancellation criteria, regulation of informational obligations, and right of access.
(5) We set the goal(s) so that we at all times know whether we are going in the right direction and how close we are to achieving it/them.
(6) You receive my methodological support through further clarification (if necessary), reorientation, change, and achievement of coaching goals aimed at your desired (self-)transformation.
(7) Having either reached your goal(s) or having had to escalate should we fail to reach it/them, we formally and socially bring the process to a close and assess the outcome, process and structure.

I am looking forward to working with you and to answering any questions you may have at any time.
